What Is the Cat® Fuel Guarantee Program?

The Cat Fuel Guarantee Program is a formal commitment from Caterpillar to qualifying machine owners on fuel consumption performance. Since 2016, the program has given Cat customers a level of cost certainty that is uncommon in heavy industry.

When you purchase a qualifying Cat machine, Caterpillar commits to an agreed fuel burn level per hour for that machine model. If your machine exceeds that agreed level, Tractors Singapore Limited will issue a parts credit voucher. Fuel consumption is measured and averaged on a quarterly basis, with vouchers issued to qualifying customers accordingly.

It is a straightforward arrangement that removes guesswork from one of the most significant line items in your operating budget.

What Qualifies for the Program?

Three main conditions apply to participate in the Cat Fuel Guarantee Program:

• The machine must be a qualifying Cat model
• It must be a new Cat machine purchase, not used or rental
• Cat® Product Link™ must be enabled on the machine

Product Link is Cat's telematics system that captures real-time machine data including fuel consumption, idle time, and operating hours. Keeping it active throughout the program period is essential, as it provides the verified consumption data that underpins the guarantee.
