Tractors Singapore Limited (TSL) – authorised Cat Dealer for Singapore, Maldives and Christmas Island, Indian Ocean – is proud to announce the delivery of 10 units of 336D2L excavators to its valued customer, Kok Kiat Machinery Limited (Kok Kiat), a leading construction company in Singapore. Kok Kiat owns and operates a large fleet of over 200 Cat machines deployed for a wide range of construction projects in Singapore and the region. On 30th December 2017, a tri-purpose celebratory ceremony was held for the delivery of the 36T excavators, in conjunction with Kok Kiat’s 20th anniversary and the opening of their new office in Tuas South Street 12.

The 10 units of 336D2L are fitted with the powerful Cat C9 ACERTTM engines. The Cat C9 engines meet the emissions standard of EPA Tier 3 Equivalent, EU Stage IIIA Equivalent and China Nonroad III. The hydraulic system is further improved, reducing the overall fuel consumption by 8% compared to the earlier 336 models. The operator station also received an overhaul with improved visibility and easy-to-access switches, providing a comfortable working environment for maximum production and efficiency. 336D2L also has a longer undercarriage, further improving the stability of the iron during operations.

Apart from these 10 excavators, Kok Kiat is expecting another delivery of 20 units of Cat 745 Articulated Trucks by the first quarter of 2018.
