Cat® Command Semi-Autonomous Control for Compaction

Cat® Command for Compaction is an operator-assisted, semi-autonomous technology that automates compaction on Cat vibratory soil compactors, controlling speed, direction, steering and vibration based on operator inputs.

Cat Command for compaction is available on selected Cat equipment.

Setup is simple, with no site design files or back-office work.

The system connects to commonly used base stations, and the operator defines the compaction area using the machine itself.

Dual RTK GPS precision delivers consistent overlap and correct pass counts, achieving up to 60% better coverage compared to a novice operator* and eliminating skill gaps between operators.
