Taking Personal Delivery Of The First Unit Of CAT®140K Motor Grader Produced at the Caterpillar® Suzhou Plant For The Singapore Market

The timing was perfect for Mr and Mrs Ng Cheng Poh (Kok Kiat Machinery Pte Ltd)’s visit to the Caterpillar Suzhou. Authorized Cat Dealer for Singapore, Maldives and Christmas Island-Indian Ocean, Tractors Singapore Limited’s customer was able to personally take delivery of the very first unit of Cat 140K motor grader to be produced at the Suzhou plant for the Singapore market. With much fanfare, Mr and Mrs Ng were invited to cut the ribbon against the backdrop of their mint-new motor grader.          

Kok Kiat Machinery, one of Tractors Singapore’s valued fleet owners expects this unit to arrive mid-December. The Cat 140K will join Kok Kiat Machinery’s fleet of over 60 Caterpillar machines. Mr Ng has plans for this motor grader to work at the Pasir Panjang reclamation project.

The Cat 140K, a direct replacement of model 140H, optimizes investment by delivering maximum productivity and durability. The Cat C7 engine, direct-drive power shift transmission and load-sensing hydraulics work together to ensure the power and precision to get the job done – these are some of the features which contributed to Kok Kiat Machinery’s decision to order this unit.
